Anyone else been to this place by Chaoyang Park? Our friends took their daughter and said it was great. Definitely plan on going next weekend.

Re: Magic Bean House Children's Museum
I went yesterday -- great little place. Cool little mini supermarket with real scanners kids can play with, a nerf-ball shooting range and a miniature earthquake simulator were some of the more fun bits.
Problem is that it can get really crowded -- and as word spreads about this place, i expect it to get even more crowded.
i'd say it's a great place for a weekday afternoon after school (to beat the crowds)
it's also a 5 minute walk from both Chef Too and the west entrance to Chaoyang Park, so easy to make a day of it.

We went and checked it out last week - the activities are quite varied, and they have some nice attractions in there - my daughter especially liked the supermarket and water fountains. The car looked fun as well, but we didn't get a chance to ride it as there were too many kids.
The flipside is that the place is a bit small, only wish it was larger, and the price (RMB 80 for kids over 2, RMB 40 for each accompanying adults), may be a turn off for some people.
All the same, paired with a lunch at Solana/Lucky Street/ or Chaoyang Park West Gate - a trip here is a nice family outing.
