Mothercare comes to Beijing!

Went to have a look at the new Solana shopping mall just down from Lucky Street today and found that Mothercare will soon be opening. Shop exterior is finished but interior is still being completed so not sure when it will open. Also a couple of childrens rides (Brum which my son loves!) and a great child freindly fountain for the kids to play in. Good place to waste a hour with the little ones....

I went to look at mothercare tonight. I loved being able to walk around a shoppe like this without being followed and hassled by helpers. I'm going to be a new mom and was very impressed with the selection of strollers they had. So many of them. Since I've just started looking, I really don't know if the pricing is competitive (yet), but I'll come back and let you know after I look around elsewhere some more. But for now I thought you would help to share that they have a big selection in baby bedding, mattresses, strollers.

Ok I checked out Mothercare and found the selection and quality of goods terrific. But the pricing is a bit expensive. Not ludicrous expensive, but just more than I might pay for the same thing somwhere else. But it is nice place to walk around and look.
