Balance Bikes - Very Cool

We were just at the Giant store on Jingshun Lu and got the Coolest Bike Ever. It’s called a “balance bike,” and it’s for kids about 100 cm tall or taller. It has a regular wheel in back, but in the front it has two small tilting wheels. No handlebars – the kids just hold the seat and peddle around. The idea is that kids learn to balance before they can ride a big kid bike. My four-year-old LOVES this bike and is quickly mastering it. The older kids in the neighborhood love it, too, though they say it is hard to do. It’s a little too tall for my two-year-old. The bike is around RMB400. Very cool. If you’re in the market for a bike w training wheels, check this out first. You might prefer it.
