The Fifth Newzealand Film Festival

After the Russian Film Festival, the Fourth New Zealand Film festival just kicked off in Star Cityt yesterday. It will last until June 22. During the festival, it will screen five feature films including Tattooist, No. 2, Out of Blue, Eagle vs Shark, The end of the Golden Weather, and 5 short films. What is good for children? Short film animation, A Very Nice Honeymoon is a beautifully crafted 2D and 3D animated film abut Jeff and Phil Simoond's great grandparents Mariano and Elizabeth Vella who were on the steamer SS Wairarapa when it was wrecked on the coast of Great Barrier Island in 1893.
The another short film, Hawaikii tells story about a young Maori girl. Her first school day without the security of her parents. Although her family is poor, but she has much love in her life and a love for their culture and its stories.
