I haven't been - where in the park is it? How much does it cost to get in? Is it super-crowded on weekends? Is it clean (do people pick up after their dogs)? And most importantly - is it safe? I realize I don't even know if local dogs are vaccinated the way mine is.

yeah it's great. it's in the southeast part of the park... you know that road with giant pretentious statues on both sides? walk to the end of that road then turn right -- dog park's at the end of that little path.
it looks pretty safe to me. they request to see the dog registration certificate for each dog to get in. most dogs there are big, lots of golden retrievers, shepherds and poodles. their owners are mostly young people too. very few yappy little pekineses. over all it looks pretty cool.
