will this finally be a watchable Dr Seuss movie?

I love the original animated version (30 mins) of the Grinch Who Stole Christmas but I take it that both the feature-length version of the Grinch and the Cat in the Hat were both terrible (I relied on the reviews rather than clutter my mind with substandard flicks taking on the Seuss canon).

Early reviews are good. I suppose we won't be seeing this in the theaters here (bummer) but would love to hear what those of you who've managed to score a copy thought of it.
