Part of the 75-year-old Yew Chung Education Foundation of Hong Kong, YCIS offers the National Curriculum for England, including IGCSE, and is also a certified provider of the IB Diploma Program. From K2 to Year 1, classes are taught half in English and half in Chinese. From Year 2 to Year 6, each subject is taught 70% in English and 30% in Chinese. High school classes are in English, with compulsory daily Chinese classes. Through its curriculum, Yew Chung aspires to help its students become capable of moving between Western and Eastern cultures.
