The British School of Beijing offers the English National Curriculum taught by UK qualified teachers, supported by native English-speaking teaching assistants. Approximately two hours of Chinese instruction are provided weekly. The school has strict admission requirements, including entrance exams and a limit on the number of students requiring ESL support to no more than 20% of the total student number in any class. Age-appropriate English speaking and listening skills are required for all children over five.
